After nine long years, Indycar finally came to its senses and returned to one of the most popular tracks for drivers and spectators, Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. The weekend was huge success with a crowd estimated near 50,000 for raceday. Along with the three open wheel support series that run with Indycar, the Pirelli World Challenge Sportscars also shared the weekend.
